Inlays and onlays can be made of gold, composite resin, or our favorite — porcelain. Because of its durability and tooth-like color, a porcelain inlay or onlay is used to shield your tooth from further harm by preventing bacteria from getting inside your tooth and causing more damage. This procedure is quick and needs only one appointment session to complete.

Dental Inlay/Onlay Application

An inlay restores a smaller area of the tooth while the onlay restores a larger area of the tooth plus the cusp. During the procedure, Dr. Pandher will remove any decay and thoroughly clean the tooth before making an impression of your tooth. This impression will be sent to our in-house lab so that your inlay or onlay can be fabricated to fit perfectly into your mouth. Once the porcelain restoration is made, she will place your permanent restoration in your mouth.
